foreign back here um blessed again with a message to bless you um and it's going to be about an invitation to the kingdom this might be a uh a bit of a shocker when you um as we go on to it but bear with me before we get into it let's pray father we thank you Lord for today we thank you for the worship that you have given to us Lord that we can offer to you we thank you for our voices we thank you for our bodies that we can offer to you Lord as Living Sacrifice and I pray Lord that today we listen to your word Lord that we will be blessed and to have our ears our eyes and our hearts Open Lord as we listen to your word thank you Father may you change your soul today in Jesus name amen so how many of you watch the news and I have a show of hands how many of you watched the news yeah there's about four five people okay all right well I uh I barely watch the news um super rare very very rare actually I see some some of them from time to time um in social media but I don't stick around [Music] to watch the whole thing or even 20 minutes of the news um I just I don't know I just didn't grow up to like it but several people have spoken to this year um said that they gave up watching the news because it's depressing right scary and all about bad news and no good news at all but today we will have good news amen and that's what we need it won't start with good news but it will be good news now the current happenings in the world today um that we may not be aware of I'm actually I usually watch um YouTube videos from Christian channels right so um and they talk about all sorts of things that um concerns the church and the word of God and different world matters similar to the news but uh uh different because there is always a reminder of Hope in Christ but I do have to warn those who want to do the same you know watch videos online to be very careful and Discerning when it comes to these videos because a lot of them could be fake or taking the word of God completely out of context so you have to know the word of God as well however I did gather several channels Who Remain consistent with the word and sharing the Gospel of Jesus so if you want to know about them talk to me after the service now let's read our text first Revelation oh Revelation Revelation 16 12 to 16. the sixth Angel poured his bow on the great river Euphrates and its water was dried up in order to prepare the way for the Kings from the East and I saw three foul Spirits like frogs coming from the mouth of the dragon from the mass of the Beast and from the mouth of the false prophet these are demonic spirits performing signs who go abroad to the kings of the whole world to assemble them for battle on the great day of God the almighty see I am coming like a thief blessed is the one who stays awake and is clothed not going about naked and exposed to shame and they say and they assembled them at the place in Hebrew is called r mageddon or in the scholars would argue that it's actually harm again meaning like the mountain I megadon um anyway but there is no mountain there but anyway that's that's that will get us off track anyway so for those who have read or is reading the book of uh revelation we should know that this book has a lot of symbolism a lot of symbolism The Way It Was Written is like a puzzle with more than billion pieces put together it's super hard to get 100 correct because a lot of what we know about the book may not be exactly right but one thing is for sure that the Lord Jesus Christ is victorious in the end amen and that's what matters the most but what I want to point out today concerning this text is about some parts that John described first I'm going to point out that this text talks about the six sixth bowl of God's Wrath out of the seven bowls of God's Wrath not ignoring the one to five balls of God's Wrath and the possibility of these things happening in order but we will have a look at what is happening in the world today while looking at these verses here now the first happening is I don't know if you know about this first happening is the Euphrates River drying up has anyone heard of this yes the Euphrates river is drying up so in 2001 um this one's a bit blurry it was taken by a local this is what it looks like right so the water is still full um there's actually a building on the on the side on the left side if you can see there in the same building in the 2022 so that's before this is after so it definitely dried up so it's a bit um blurry but that's what it looks like today this is only part of are you afraid to serve are you afraid to serve is large and when we read in um in Revelation it says the sixth Angel put out I'll put his boat on the great river Euphrates and its water has dried up in order to prepare the way for the Kings from the East now the great river Euphrates is one of the largest rivers in the world it's written in Genesis as one of the four rivers flowing from the Garden of Eden it's also a significant River that is majorly mentioned in the Old Testament about 35 times now one mention is in Isaiah 11. the chapter talks about someone coming from the root of Jesse the spirit of the Lord will rest upon him who do you think that is Jesus right root of Jesse Spirit of the Lord will come and rest upon him all the animals can dwell together in peace all the people will gather in his name and his people will make war against all those who oppose the Lord and the other nations will lose and the Lord will be Victorious It's like a full Bible story but in Isaiah 15-16 it talked about the people of God crossing the Euphrates River in sandals right in sandals just like it was at the time in Egypt it is again the Lord saving the remnant of the people of God this part is cited in Revelation 16 verse 12. now referring to the river um drying up meaning this happening so the The Happening with what we can see now is not only mentioned in Revelation but in other prophetic texts as well you can also find citations in Jeremiah in Revelation 16 12 however the water is dried up to what to make way for the Kings these and as we move on it refers to uh demonic spirits preparing to make war against the God oh my against God almighty that's verse 14 or perhaps they will use the dry land as advantage to assemble or perhaps it will be symbol a symbolic motion where some people would say all hell will break loose right according to tyndale's commentary it may be that John is referring to uh great casualties in a war within the evil forces basically the enemy will make war with each other to take over one another seeing that there is no Great River anymore for them to hesitate but instead find the courage to attack however it appears in Isaiah the drying up of Euphrates river is a movement of redemption right it's a movement of redemption so to get the people across to get the people across the river but in Revelation it is a movement of War allowing the enemy to assemble together or by his by God's Wrath dividing the enemies to kill each other but remember it is the sixth bowl of God's Wrath therefore if we assure that this event is a direct relation to our text in Revelation it will mean that the one to five bowls of God's Wrath has already happened or everything else that John has spoken before he said mentioned this in Revelation 16. so is that really the case then but what's interesting is how John seemed like he was suddenly interrupted by a memory or a reminder as he mentioned the world the words and Revelations um 16 15. perhaps what we can witness today as the Euphrates River drives up is connected to this verse more verse 15. see I am coming like a thief blessed is the one who stays awake and it's clothed not going about naked and exposed to shame since we are not sure about this event happening today is a fulfillment of How It's mentioned in Revelation Perhaps it is a wake-up call to the church but before we move deeper into that let's look at the other happenings in the world today next one is this guy acknowledged a false prophet in Israel now have you heard of him yes so Israel is stirred up by the man called yanuka RAV yahudah he became a prominent man at just a young age being well educated and proficient in talmud and the Torah at age 15. which is very similar to the time when Jesus at the age of 12 shock describes in the teachers of the law by his wisdom and understanding but this yanuka guy today he is known to have done several miracles that caused him to gain quite a number of followers and listeners he has performed miracles to the Jewish people healing someone who had malignant tumors as he spoke with yanuka healed a man with intestinal pains as he said he will be healed another man was wheelchair-bound and had to go through several blood transfusions because of his condition but as he went to the inuka he was healed and do not need to visit the doctors anymore this is quite a claim because it takes a lot to become a prominent leader in the Jewish community in Israel but in every miracle he talked he takes all the credit and the testimonies …
